Orchard (Family)

The leaves are all falling
Except on the apple trees

When each of the kids were born
We planted a small orchard
On Orchard Street

The kids are all grown – scattered likes leaves
the trees are still there (as are we)

The folks who settled this land
I think would be proud of our small orchard
I couldn’t be prouder from what it has grown
Makes me cry when I see the result
